Comparison sheets

Use this sheet to prepare a practical drawing comparison. The example revisions provide a baseline for inspecting dimensional and tolerance changes.

Mounting bracket — MB-4471

Reference value Revision A Revision B
Length 150 mm 160 mm
Hole diameter 10 mm 12 mm
Tolerance ±0.10 mm ±0.05 mm

These reference values describe the sample drawing pair. The landing page illustration is separate and does not represent an automated comparison result. Check the drawing files and application’s detected changes before making engineering decisions.

Sign in, create a comparison, and select the original and revised files in the same format. You can also use the application’s sample selection where available. This page provides files and guidance; it does not run a comparison.

Input format comparison

Detail DXF Vector PDF
Drawing information CAD entities extracted from the drawing Geometry and text extracted from vector pages
Best starting point CAD entity geometry and drawing semantics Vector drawing exports and multi-page drawing sets
Caveat Confirm supported entities, units, and coordinates Export settings and outlined fonts can affect extracted semantics
Image-only scans Not a DXF workflow Raster/OCR comparison is not implemented
Entirely local processing No No — extracted drawing information is submitted for processing

Review checklist

  1. Check part number and revision identity before upload.
  2. Confirm both files use consistent units, scale, and coordinates.
  3. Inspect length, hole diameter, and tolerance against the reference values above.
  4. Review the overlay and itemized changes; distinguish detected changes from your engineering interpretation.
  5. Record questions as per-change comments and resolve outstanding issues.
  6. Verify engineering intent before sign-off. Treat AI analysis as assistance.
