Review workflow

01 — Set up the review

Associate the review with the correct customer organization and folder. Use meaningful revision labels so reviewers can trace the comparison back to its source drawings.

02 — Compare and locate

Inspect the overlay alongside the itemized changes. Use pan, zoom, reset, and layer controls to locate relevant geometry. The current application groups changes by severity and entity type.

The landing page uses green for additions, red for removals, and a muted base for unchanged geometry. Modified entities in the review application may also use amber or blue. Use the legend in the active drawing view to interpret each highlight.

03 — Understand the impact

Review dimension edits, hole movement, notes, and tolerances in their surrounding context. Request AI analysis where available. Check the suggested impact against the source drawing and record the engineering rationale for the decision.

04 — Discuss and resolve

Record comments against the affected change. Reviewers can resolve outstanding issues and record sign-offs according to their access. The application’s append-only activity trail records review actions for later reference.

05 — Complete the review

Verify outstanding items and revision identity before approval. Confirm which review records and export options are available for your review process before assuming a particular report format.

When drawings shift

Confirm coordinate consistency before interpreting widespread differences. A view that moves between revisions can introduce apparent changes unrelated to design intent. Crop/reference-point alignment should not be assumed to be available; check the source drawings and the preparation guide.
